James F. “Jim” Carmichael was born on July 18, 1939, in Washington, Pennsylvania, and died on July 12, 2016.
He was an American politician.
Jim was a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the 3rd District from 2000 to 2008.
Jim Carmichael was also a commissioner for Wayne County. Carmichael died on July 12, 2016.
He graduated from Shreve High School in Shreve, Ohio.
Carmichael served in the Ohio Army National Guard from 1959 to 1964.
He worked for the Dominion East Ohio Gas Company as a district manager.
Carmichael served as mayor of the village of Shreve, from 1971 to 1979.
He also served on the Wayne County Board of Elections and was chairman of the elections board.
He died in Wooster, Ohio.
Jim Carmichael passed away at 76 years old.
