Jim Bush was born on September 15, 1926 and died on July 10, 2017.

He was a National Track and Field Hall of Fame track and field coach.

Bush was known primarily for his coaching tenure at the University of California, Los Angeles from 1965 to 1984.

In that time, Bush teams won five NCAA Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships (1966, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1978 (tied with UTEP) and he coached 30 Olympians.

Jim Bush passed away at 90 yeats old.
