Jigme Dorje Palbar Bista was born in 1930 and died on December 16, 2016.

He was the Unofficial King of Mustang.

He was the king between 1965 to 2008, until Monarchy, Semi-Monarchy, Vassals and Titular Kingship were abolished in Nepal.

King A-ma-dpal (1440–1447) was the initial founder of the Lo (Lo-Manthang) dynasty.

He was born in Lo-Manthang Palace in Upper Mustang in Himalayan Range of Nepal.

Jigme Dorje Palbar Bista was the third son of Colonel H.H. Sri Sri Sri Raja Angun Tenzing Trandul, King of Mustang.

Jigme was educated privately at Shigatse, Tibet.

Palbar Bista was appointed as Heir Apparent recognised by Nepal Government in 1959 A.D.

Bista succeeded as Head of Royal House of Lo and title of Lo-rGyal-po and King of Mustang on the death of his father in 1964 A.D.

Jigme Dorje Palbar Bista passed away at 86 years old.
