Jevgenija Stalidzāne was born in 1944, and died on October, 21, 2015.
She was a Latvian politician.
Jevgenija was the deputy to the Seimas of the Republic of Latvia in 1998 to 2006.
She obtained a degree in electrical engineering at the Riga Polytechnic Institute in 1968.
In 1998 to 2002 she sat in the Sejm seventh term on behalf of the New Party (JP) Raimonds Pauls.
Jevgenija was also the president of the Club of Deputies of JP from May to August 2000.
In the elections of 2002 Jevgenija Stalidzāne was elected to the Sejm eighth term of office as a candidate of the First Party of Latvia (LPP).
In the Sejm Jevgenija was the chair of the Labour and Social Affairs, and the Vice-President of the Club of Deputies of the LPP.
In the national elections, in 2006 and 2010 Jevgenija unsuccessfully ran for re-election on behalf of a coalition of LPP / LC and the movement “For a Good Latvia”.
Jevgenija Stalidzāne was the president of the Latvian Trade Union “Enerģija”.
She was married, and has two children and four grandchildren.
Jevgenija passed away at age 70 in October 2015.
