Jean Reese Worthley was born on February 23, 1925, and died on April 10, 2017.

She was an American naturalist.

Worthley was the host of Maryland Public Broadcasting’s children’s television series Hodgepodge Lodge, and was co-host of On Nature’s Trail.

Worthley was the writer of The Complete Family Nature Guide, which was published in 1976.
