Jaroslav Malina was born on December 5, 1937, Prague, and died on May 14, 2016.

He was a scenographer from the Czech Republic.

He was a member of the Artistic Council of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.

During the following years 1991, 1999, and 2003, Malina served as the commissioner-in-chief of the Prague Quadrennial.

Jaroslav Malina studied at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Charles University from 1957-61 and then at the Academy of Fine Arts, from which he graduated in 1964.

During 1990, Malina became a teacher of the Academy and was its president from 1996 to 1998.

Jaroslav Malina passed away at 78 yrs old.
