Jaroslav Jareš was born on March 21, 1930, and died on September 5, 2016.

He was a Czech football player and manager.

In his Czechoslovakian first division career, Jareš played for Slavia Prague and Sparta Prague. He won the Czechoslovak First League with Sparta in 1954.

Following his completion active career, Jareš began to work as a football manager.

Jaroslav Jareš coached Slavia Prague in two separate stints, once in 1973-1979 and again in 1984-1986.

With him as head of management, Slavia ended up third in the Czechoslovak League on four occasions.

Jaroslav coached Dukla Prague (1987-1990) and finished second in the league in the 1987-1988 season.

Jaroslav Jareš passed away at 86 years old.
