James Garrett Freeman was born on November 12, 1980, and died January 27, 2016.

He was an American criminal.

He was convicted, sentenced to death, and executed for murder in Texas.

The known criminal was originated from Lissie, an unincorporated area in Wharton County, Texas.

James worked as a welder, however, he was unemployed at the time he committed murder.

Prior to the incident where he murdered someone, he had no record of violence.

On March 17, 2007, he was involved in a high-speed chase with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) officers.

At the Lissie Cemetery, where the chase ended, he fired at TPWD staff with an AK-47 and a Glock pistol.

And, Justin Hurst, who was a 34-year old TPWD game warden, was struck twice and killed.

Next, Hurst had turned 34 that day. Freeman was shot four times and survived.

Then the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ)#999539 had convicted and sentenced James Garrett Freeman to death.

Whereas on death row, he was in Polunsky Unit.

James Garrett Freeman was executed at Huntsville Unit on January 27, 2016, nine years after the murder.

James Garrett Freeman passed away at 35 yrs old.
