Jakob Frank Denzinger was born on June 29, 1924, in Osijek, Croatia, Kingdom of Yugoslavia and died on February 14, 2016, in Osijek, Croatia.

He was a concentration camp guard.

He served during the Holocaust in Nazi Germany at five separate concentration camps across three countries, as well as a member of the SS-Totenkopfverbände.

At only 18 yrs old, Denzinger started serving in the Schutzstaffel, in 1942

Straight into the next year, he served in the Auschwitz concentration camp from May 1943 to March 1945.

On April 24, 1945, Denzinger was taken prisoner by Allied forces in France.

Jakob was credible held until the end of the war, September 2, 1945.

In 1956, Jakob Denzinger retreated to the United States, where he became a naturalized citizen in 1972.

He fled the US in 1989 in advance of his denaturalization.

However, an Associated Press investigation reported in October 2014 that despite being denaturalized, Jakob Denzinger was still receiving monthly Social Security payments.

Jakob Denzinger passed away at 92 yrs old.
