Jack Pinoteau or Jacques Pinoteau was born on September 20, 1923, and died on April 6, 2017.

He was a French film director born at Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines.

He was the brother of Claude Pinoteau and Arlette Merry.

Jack is mostly known for the his direction of the film Le Triporteur (fr), after a novel by René Fallet which made Darry Cowl famous.

Jack Pinoteau passed away at 93 years old.
