Jack Mansell, British footballer and coach, Died at 88

Jack Mansell was born on August 22, 1927, and died on March 19, 2016.

He was a former professional footballer.

Jack made 274 appearances in the Football League as a fullback for Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City and Portsmouth.

Following his retirement as a player, Jack joined the coaching staff at Sheffield Wednesday.

Mansell coached many clubs with his longest term serving at Reading and had experience overseas with the likes of Blauw-Wit Amsterdam, Boston Beacons and the Israel national football team.

During the year 1982, Jack Mansell was selected to train Maccabi Haifa, after a year at the Israeli national team. Mansell died on March 19, 2016.

Jack Mansell passed away at 88 yrs old.
