Jack Cornelius Ahearn was born on October 8, 1924 and died on April 10, 2017.

He was an Australian Grand Prix motorcycle road racer.

Ahearn most memorable season was in 1964 when he won the 500cc Finnish Grand Prix and finished second to Mike Hailwood in the 500cc world championship.

Then, on January 16, 2001, Ahearn was awarded the Australian Sports Medal for his achievements.

He died in Lismore.

Jack Ahearn passed away at 92 years old.
