J Capri, real name Jordan Joel Phillips was born on December 24, 1991, Kingston, Jamaica and died on December 4, 2015, Mona, Jamaica.

She was a Jamaican singer/ singjay.

She was the daughter of Jamaican DJ Mr. Murphy rename Kenneth Phillips and her mother Oradell Carwin.

Her Producer Rvssian under his Head Concussion Records launched J Capri’s career with the release of “Pull Up To Mi Bumpa” featuring Konshens, “Whine ‘n’ Kotch” featuring Charley Black, “Reverse It” and “Boom ‘n” Bend Over”.

Jordon attended St Richards Primary School, where her talent was recognized one day at a singing competition

At 17 years old, J attended EXED Community College where she studied Performing Arts then moved on to attending Edna Manley School of The Visual and Performing Arts.

She met Rvssian shortly after and he asked her to write her first dancehall song.

She had a bright future in dance hall music, she will be missed by many.

J had met people who inspired her creative outlook on fashion, music, art and dance.

Jordan work with Chan Dizzy in November.

The song was very well received in Trinidad and Tobago and Florida.

The song had over 400,000 views on Youtube.

J created a big buzz after she released hit song, Whine and Kotch with popular dancehall artist Charly Black produced by Rvssian.

Her song went to number one on iTunes in over 7 countries such as the Netherlands, France, Trinidad and Tobago, Guadeloupe, Martinique and more.

J was asked to go on tour in Paris, France, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Trinidad and Tobago 4 months after she released Whine and Kotch with Charly Black.

Rvssian, the producer decided to keep the hype going by releasing ‘’the sequel’’ of Whine and Kotch.

Konshens collaborated with J Capri.

The song was a hit radio stations in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and Martinique.

Herself and Konshens shot the video 2 weeks after the song released and in less than a month the video was premiered on Trinidad tv and on YouTube.

So far the video has over 98,000 views.

J Capri passed away at 23 yrs old.
