Ivan Hladush

Ukrainian militsiya general Ivan Hladush was born on July 24, 1929 in village of Mishuryn Rih, Verkhnodniprovsk Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Okruha (today in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast) and died on December 6, 2018.

During 1951 Hladush graduated the Dnipropetrovsk Autotransportation Technicum.

In 1951, he started as a controller at the State Auto Inspection (GAI).

During 1957 he graduated the All-Union Extramural Engineering Institute in Moscow.

Ivan Hladush was accountable for GAI at the Directorate of General Order Security in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in 1963.

Ivan Hladush headed the Directorate of General Order Security in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in 1968-1974.

At that time, Ivan Hladush graduated the Kiev College of Ministry of Interior Affairs of USSR (today National Academy of Interior Affairs of Ukraine) in 1970 and in 1973 he got a position of Major General of Militsiya.

In 1974-1977 Hladush was ahead of Directorate of Interior Affairs in Donetsk Oblast.

In 1982-1990 Ivan Hladush was a pastor of Internal Affairs of UkrSSR.

He resigned as a Colonel General of Militsiya, in January 1991.

Ivan Hladush was granted a position of General of Internal Service by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, in 2010.

During April 1988 Ivan Hladush as a priest of Interior headed an administration commission with respect to ongoing discoveries in forests around Darnytsia.

The commission thought of its report declaring that in Bykivnia were executed Soviet individuals by Nazi-Fascist intruders.

It was in completely valid as there was Darnytsia death camp in the close region. Later another commission affirmed that Bykivnia was concealing substantially more.

Ivan Hladush passed away at 89 years old.
