Tom McBride was born on September 18, 1936, and died on April 17, 2018.

He was known as Big Tom.

He was an Irish country music, Traditional Irish music and Easy Listening singer, guitarist, and saxophone player.

Big Tom featured as the frontman of the Irish showband Big Tom and The Mainliners, established in 1966

Tom was affectionally known as ‘Ireland’s king of country music.

He died at 81 years old.
