Javed Abidi born in 1965 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and died in 2018

He was an Indian activist.

He served as the director of the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) in India, and the founder of the Disability Rights Group.

Abidi received an education in Journalism and Communication at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Abidiset up the disability wing of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation in India, after being invited to do so by Sonia Gandhi.

Javed Abidi passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018.

He died at 53 years old.
