Helen Sommers was born on March 29, 1932, and died on March 7, 2017.
She was an American politician.
Sommers served in the Washington House of Representatives from 1972 to 2009.
Sommers represented the 36th district, as a Democrat.
When she retired she was the state’s longest-serving legislator.
Sommers was born in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey and attended the University of Washington.
Sommers was also a Charles Bullard Forest Research Fellow at Harvard University.
He died in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Helen Sommers passed away at 84 years old.
