Hasan Jamil, Ex-International cricketer, died at 63

Hasan Jamil Alvi was born on July 25, 1952, in Karachi, Pakistan, and died on October 7, 2015.

He was a Pakistani cricketer.

He played 6 One-day International in Pakistan, from 1977 to 1978.

Hasan was an all-rounder, batting and bowling left-handed.

Known as the Former Pakistan’s international cricketer, Hasan Jamil made his one-day debut against England at Zafar Ali Stadium Sahiwal on December 23, 1977, scoring 20 runs and did not bowl.

Overall, he has scored 4,230 runs over 4 centuries and took 204 wickets with his left arm pace bowling.

Jamal has played for PIA and after retiring from the national carrier.

He was working as a General Manager Operations at the Arabian Sea Country Club.

Hasan Jamil made his international debut in the presence of cricketers like Javed Miandad, Mudassar Nazar, Sadiq Muhammad and Wasim Raja under the leadership of Wasim Bari.

Hasan Jamil passed away at 63 yrs old due to a sudden cardiac.
