Robert Harry Harpham was born on February 21, 1954, and died on February 4, 2016.
He was a British Labour Party politician.
Harry Harpham was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sheffield Brightside and Hillsborough from the May 2015 general election until his death nine months later.
Harpham was a coal miner at Clipstone Colliery and took part in the miners’ strike of 1984–85 as a NUM member.
Minister Harpham relocate to Sheffield in 1985 and began his studied at the University of Sheffield as a mature student.
He served on Sheffield City Council from 2004, becoming deputy leader of the council.
Earlier to his death, he was one of 125 MPs who employed a member of their family, employing his wife as a part-time researcher.
He was diagnosed with cancer in December 2015 and died on February 4, 2016.
Harry Harpham passed away at 61 yrs old.
