Hans Kleefeld was born on April 7, 1929, in Berlin and died on March 10, 2016.

He was a Canadian identity designer.

Hans gain recognition from his work for companies such as Bank of Montreal, Air Canada, Air Jamaica and Toronto-Dominion Bank.

He relocated to Toronto, Canada in 1952.

Kleefeld was a teacher at the Ontario College of Art and Design for many years and subsequently at Sheridan College, Ontario.
