Dead, Hans Erik Granqvist, born 23 September 1924 in Blötberget the then Kopparberg , died July 27, 2015 , was a Swedish journalist, foreign correspondent, writer and translator.

Hans Granqvist studied at the Sorbonne and Uppsala 1946-1950. He was a teaching assistant at the Institute of International Affairs 1950-1956, the Paris correspondent for Scandinavian newspapers 1957-1963 and Aftonbladet from 1964 to 1965.

He was the Hong Kong correspondent for Swedish Radio and Scandinavian newspapers from 1966 to 1976. The years 1969-1974 he was CEO of Gala Trading Co.
From 1976, he worked as a teacher of meditation. He was since 1985 married with Dolly, born Swahn, and stepfather of Catherine von Bredow .
