Haitian Roman Catholic archbishop Guire Poulard was born on January 6, 1942, in Haiti and died on December 9, 2018.

During 1972, Poulard was ordained to the priesthood.

From 2009 to 2011, Poulard was the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Les Cayes, and from 1988 to 2009 Guire served as the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jacmel.

He was the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince from 2011 to 2017, succeeding Joseph Serge Miot, who died due to 2010 Haiti earthquake.

Guire Poulard passed away at 76 years old.
