Dead, Gordy Holz, born May 14, 1933 and died August 15, 2015, he was a Professional Football Player.

For five seasons from 1960 to 1964, he played at the defensive tackle position in the American Football League with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets.

Born Gordon Francis Holz, he attended Rosemount High School in Minnesota and played collegiate football at the University of Minnesota.

Selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 23 round of the 1955 NFL Draft, Holz served with the United States Military, prior to being signed by the Broncos of the newly-formed American Football League.

Gordy had the distinction of playing for Denver during the first year of their existence.
