Giorgio Ariani, Italian comedian, Died at 74

Giorgio Ariani was born on May 26, 1941, and died on March 5, 2016.

He was an Italian stand-up comedian, actor and voice actor.

He began his career as a comedian in regional cabaret clubs.

Giorgio Ariani became first known thanks to the participation to several RAI variety shows such as Supersera and Ci pensiamo lunedì.

Ariani was also active in films, particularly in the early 1980s.

Ariani directed a drama school in Campi Bisenzi0, this was during his younger years.

On television, he took part in: Drive In, Hot Water, you know the latest?, SPQR.

His other big screen even intepretò films: Sturmtruppen 2 – All the front, Shut up and fly, Cain and Cain and Pinocchio by Roberto Benigni.

In 1987, he took part in the play ‘A gypsy told me to Enrico Vaime’, which was a big success and was revived for three years.

During 1990, Giorgio Ariani wrote, directed and interpreted the ironic ‘Although fats have a soul’, and then continued his theatrical activity with the comedy An empty glass of Vinicio Gioli of 1996, staged at the Teatro Verdi in Florence and then replicated several times around Italy.

Giorgio Ariani was married and had three children.

Giorgio Ariani passed away at 74 yrs old.
