Giacomo Barabino was born on April 2, 1928, and died on May 25, 2016.

He served as auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bobbio, Italy, from 1974 until 1986, and continued in that position when it combined with Genoa to form the Diocese of Genoa-Bobbio in 1986.

Barabino was appointed the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ventimiglia-San Remo, Italy, from 1988 until 2004.

Giacomo Barabino passed away at 88 yrs old.
