Georgy Koshlakov, Russian-born Tajik politician and scientist, Died at 81

Georgy Koshlakov was born on February 8, 1936 and died on July 7, 2017.

He was the deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan.

On January 23, 1989, after the Gissar earthquake occurred, Georgy quoted as saying: “The earthquake caused a burst of mud from the foothills which poured down on the villages.

The quake was up to five miles wide and one-and-a-half miles long.”

Koshlakov was a head of the Department of Economics and Management at the Tajik-Russian Slavic University.

Georgy Koshlakov passed away at 81 years old.
