Filipino banker and business magnate George Siao Kian Ty was born on October 18, 1932, and died on November 23, 2018.

George Ty was the founder of the Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, currently the second largest bank in terms of Assets and Capital in the Philippines.

Ty bought shares in Federal Land, Inc., the Bank of the Philippine Islands and Philippine Savings Bank, a Metrobank subsidiary.

He was the owner of the G.T. International Tower in Makati.

George Ty served in the common administration of the British Raj as a gatherer and judge.

After Independence Rao joined the Indian government’s back division and moved into the recently established Indian Administrative Service.

George Ty exchanged to Andhra State after it was established in 1953.

After the establishing of Andhra Pradesh in 1956, Rao became the first secretary of open works.

Later, Ty was appointed the focal government on the Planning Commission before coming back to Andhra Pradesh as its main secretary.

Rao was a noble secretary to the President of India Neelam Sanjiva Reddy from 1981 to 1982.

George Ty passed away at 86 years old.
