George Peebles died in October 2016.

He was a Scottish football player and manager.

Peedles played for Dunfermline Athletic for most of his career.

He has contributed to the club win the 1960–61 Scottish Cup.

He later became a coach, managing Stirling Albion between 1986 and 1988.

Peebles had previously served as an assistant to Alex Smith, taking over when Smith moved to St Mirren.

George Peebles passed away at 80 years old.
