Geneviève Castrée Elverum was born in 1981, in Loretteville, Quebec and died on July 9, 2016.

She was a Canadian comics artist, illustrator, and musician from Quebec.

Castree recorded under the name Woelv one time and later switched to Ô PAON.

She had lived in the Pacific Northwestern United States.

Geneviève Castrée was married to musician Phil Elverum, the leader of the indie rock groups The Microphones and Mount Eerie.

In 2015, Geneviève Castrée was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, shortly after the birth of her and Elverum’s only child.

But during June 2016, a GoFundMe account was set up by Elverum to assist with their expenses.

Geneviève Castrée passed away at 34 years old.
