Garry Jones was born on December 11, 1950, and died on April 7, 2016.

He was a former English footballer.

At the age of 15, in 1965, he was known locally for playing for the Manchester schoolboys.

A major part of Jones his career (1968–1975) at Bolton Wanderers, he played 236 games and scoring 55 goals, he also had spells at Sheffield United, Los Angeles Aztecs, Blackpool, Hereford United and Runcorn.

He scored all three goals in Bolton’s victory over Manchester City in the League Cup, on October 5, 1971.

Garry Jones passed away at 65 yrs old.
