Gardnar Mulloy, American tennis player, Died at 103

Gardnar Putnam “Gar” Mulloy was born on November 22, 1913, in Washington, D.C. and died on November 14, 2016.

He was a former U.S. No. 1 tennis player.

He was primarily known for playing in doubles matches with partner Billy Talbert.

Mulloy was and turned 100 in November 2013.

In his playing career, he won five Grand Slam doubles tournaments.

Mulloy was a member of the winning Davis Cup team on three occasions.

He died in Miami, Florida
