Gaetano Gagliano was born on August 24, 1917, in Cattolica Eraclea, Sicily, and died on April 14, 2016.

He was a Canadian entrepreneur, visionary, and philanthropist.

He founded St. Joseph Communications and Salt + Light Television.

Gaetano Gagliano migrated to Canada in the 1950s and worked for CP Rail before launching St. Joseph Communications in 1956.

He moved from Italy with his wife and eventually had 10 children in total and over 40 grandchildren.

Gaetano Gagliano’s printing business, St. Joseph Communications would eventually become what is the largest private communications company in Canada.

Gaetano Gagliano passed away at 98 yrs old.
