F.H.G.M. (Frans) Ronnes was born on October 16, 1948 and died on June 12, 2017.
He was a Dutch politician.
Ronnes was a member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (Christen-Democratisch Appèl).
From 2001 to 2013 Frans was mayor of the municipality of Haaren.
He was born in the village of Vierlingsbeek, North Brabant.
From 1998 to 2001, Frans Ronnes was an alderman of the municipality of Bernheze.
The two municipalities are situated in the province of North Brabant.
During October 2014, Frans Ronnes assumed the post of interim mayor of Laarbeek after Hans Obachs left office, which he held until his cancer diagnosis in 2016.
Frans was the president of the Charter of European Rural Communities.
He died after a battle with prostate cancer.
Frans Ronnes’ sons Gijs (born 1977) and Bram (born 1978) are beach volleyball players.
Frans Ronnes passed away at 68 years old.
