Paul Blake was born on October 19, 1965, and died on May 18, 2017.

He was better known as Frankie Paul.

He was a Jamaican dancehall reggae artist.

Blake was born blind, he has been dubbed by some ‘The Jamaican Stevie Wonder’.

After adopting the stage name Frankie Paul, he first found fame in the early 1980s, and he recorded prolifically throughout the decade.

Frankie Paul has recorded for virtually every producer/studio in Jamaica at some time, and has been known to release several albums a year.

Some of Frankie Paul most notable works include the popular “Sara” and “Worries in the Dance”.

He has resided in The Gambia since 1994.

Frankie Paul passed away at 51 years old.
