Frank Griffin died at June 5, 2016.

Frank served on the Supreme Court of Ireland from 1973 until 1991.

He was a Judge-in-Residence at the University College Dublin Sutherland School of Law.

Between the year 1991 to 1996, Griffin served as President of the Council of the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital.

He had a son, Gerry Griffin, is a solicitor.

Gerry serves as judge on the Irish Circuit Court.
