Frank Dostal was born on December 16, 1945, in Flensburg, Germany, and died April 18, 2017.

He was a German songwriter and music producer.

During the late 1960s, Dosatal was a singer with the rock bands The Rattles, who were consistently successful in Germany during the 1960s, and Wonderland.

During the late 1970s, Frank Dostal was a co-writer for the internationally successful vocal duo Baccara produced by Rolf Soja.

He was married to Mary McGlory, a former bass guitar player of Liverpool all-female beat group The Liverbirds. They have two children.

Frank Dostal passed away at 71 years old.
