Francis Kiddle, British philatelist, Died at 73

Francis Edgar Kiddle was born in 1942, and died on October 21, 2015 from lung cancer.

He was a British philatelist who has achieved an international reputation in the field of philatelic literature and cinderella philately.

Francis is a past President of the Royal Philatelic Society London and in 2006 won a Smithsonian Philatelic Achievement Award.

He is also an FIP (Federation Internationale de Philatelie) accredited judge and is currently Chairman of the FIP Revenue Commission.

Francis is also Chairman of the Trustees of the British Philatelic Trust.

Since 2005 he has been the Curator of the Perkins Bacon Archive of the Royal Philatelic Society London.

Until his death, he and his brother Charles wrote a monthly article on Cinderella stamp for Stamp Magazine.

Francis died on October 21, 2015 of lung cancer.
