Dead. Fernand Grosjean, born May 5, 1924 and died August 19, 2015, he was a Swiss alpine skier who competed in the 1948 Winter Olympics and in the 1952 Winter Olympics.

Grosjean was born in Geneva. In 1948 he finished eighth in the alpine skiing downhill competition and 16th in the combined event.

Four years later he finished eleventh in the 1952 giant slalom competition.

He is the grandfather of French Formula One driver Romain Grosjean.

Swiss alpine skier Fernand Grosjean died on August 19, 2015 at age 91.
