Felix Ovudoroye Ibru was born on December 7, 1935, and died on March 12, 2016.
He was a Nigerian architect, Senator and the First democratically elected Governor of Delta State.
Ibru held the position of President General of the Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU), up until his passing.
He was a traditional chieftain of his homeland, Felix bore the tribal honorific Olorogun and often used it as a pre-nominal style.
That particular title is also borne by many of the members of his large family in the same way.
Ibru was the winner of the 2003 Senatorial elections for Delta Central.
Felix Ibru was married with 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
Felix Ibru passed away at 80 yrs old.
