Fatim Jawara was born on March 13, 1997, and died in October 2016.
She was a Gambian association footballer.
Jawara played for the Gambia women’s national football team and top Gambian women’s football club Red Scorpions FC.
During 2012, Fatim played as the substitute goalkeeper at the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup for the under-17 national team.
She died trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea by boat to Italy.
Fatim Jawara passed at 19 years old.
