Faigy Mayer, Dead at 29

Faigy Mayer reportedly jumped to her death from the top of a rooftop bar. According to reports, she had ran toward a ledge at 230 Fifth’s bar, climbed it, and jumped at 7:30 p.m. Police said that she died at the scene and that they believe it was intentional. She was just 29 years old. Faigy Mayer was the founder and CEO of Appton, a New York-based application development startup responsible for a number of apps for Apple’s iOS operating system.

Mayer was a graduate student of Accounting at CUNY, and had previously worked at META Kreative, Broadway Suites, and The Jockey Club.

At the time of her death, her LinkedIn profile said:
