Eoin Harrap Cameron was born on January 4, 1951, in Mount Gambier, South Australia and died on June 23, 2016.
He was a radio personality in Perth, Western Australia, and member of the Australian House of Representatives.
Up until August 2015, Eoin presented the ABC’s Perth local station 720 ABC Perth breakfast show, often receiving top ratings for the most popular breakfast radio show.
During August 2015, Cameron took extended leave while recovering from surgery as a result of a 2013 car accident.
During January 2016, Eoin Cameron announced that he was retiring, but would return to the studio “temporarily … to say a proper goodbye to listeners”.
Eoin Cameron’s last day at the ABC was on March, 11.
He was married with three children.
Eoin Cameron passed away at 65 yrs old.
