Italian actor Ennio Fantastichini was born on February 20, 1955, and died on December 1, 2018.

He was an acting student at the Accademia Nazionale di Arte Drammatica Silvio D’Amico.

Tommasco Scalia in Gianni Amelio’s Open Doors was the role which made him well known, a role that gave him a Nastro d’Argento, a Ciak d’oro and a special European Film Award as European Discovery of the Year.

During 2010, for his performance in Ferzan Özpetek’s Loose Cannons, Ennio Fantastichini won a David di Donatello for best supporting actor and a second Nastro d’Argento in the same category.

He died due to leukemia in Naples.

Ennio Fantastichini the actor passed away at 63 years old.
