Emmanuel Niyonkuru was born on July 20, 1962 and died on January 1, 2017.
He was a Burundian politician.
He was born in Gashingwa in the province of Muramvya,
He received his higher education in the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences in Burundi.
After completing a long career in the banking industry, Niyonkuru was appointed to the Government of Burundi as Minister of Water, Environment, Spatial planning and Urban Development in 2015, after having been elected as a senator for the district of Muramvya.
Niyonkuru was assassinated by gunshot in the capital city of Bujumbura.
Reportedly, a police spokesman said a woman was arrested in connection with the case.
Emmanuel Niyonkuru passed away at 54 years old.
