Emilyano Lorensovich Ochagaviya/Эмиляно Лоренсович Очагавия was born on May 24, 1945, in the village of Nei-colony Kamyshinsky District, Stalingrad Oblast and died on February 7, 2016, in Kostroma.

He was a Soviet and Russian theater actor.

He was Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1986), People’s Artist of the Russian Federation (2000).

Emilyano graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (Georgy Tovstonogov course).

His creative activity began in the theater twice Baltic Fleet and then worked in the drama theaters of Kaluga, Kemerovo, Astrakhan.

During 1977, Emilyano served in Kostroma Ostrovsky Theatre in Kostroma, which played many leading roles in classical and contemporary repertoire.

Between the year 1999 to 2003, he headed the theater.

Awarded the Honorary citizen of Kostroma Oblast, in July 10, 2008.

During Sunday evening, February 7, 2016, in a house on Myasnitskaya Street in Kostroma, where the family lived actor, a fire had broken out.

However, the Firefighters were able to bring the apartment of the actor, who was sleeping at the time of the fire.

Emilyano Ochagaviya passed away at 70 yrs old in the hospital.
