Eimuntas Nekrošius

Lithuanian stage director and actor Eimuntas Nekrošius was born on November 21, 1952, in Pažobris village, Raseiniai district municipality and died on November 20, 2018, in Vilnius.

He was one of the most renowned theatre directors in Lithuania.

During 1978 Nekrošius moved on from Lunacharsky Institute of Theater Arts in Moscow.

Subsequent to coming back to Lithuania Nekrošius has been working in the Vilnius State Youth Theater from 1978 until 1979.

In 1979 Nekrošius moved to the Kaunas State Drama Theater, where he remained for a year until 1980.
