Edward O’Hara was born on October 1, 1937, and deid on May 28, 2016.
He was a British Labour Party politician
O’Hara became the Member of Parliament (MP) for Knowsley South following the death of Sean Hughes.
Edward O’Hara held the seat from 1990 until 2010 when the constituency was abolished.
In that time his seat was considered the safest Labour seat in the country.
Edward O’Hara was also the chairman of the committee for technology and aerospace of the Western European Union and was succeeded by the German politician Axel Fischer, in 2009.
Edward O’Hara retired from the House of Commons in 2010, after being defeated in the selection process to become Labour candidate for Knowsley by fellow Labour MP George Howarth.
Edward O’Hara passed away at 78 years old.
