Edward Winslow Bryant Jr. was born on August 27, 1945, in White Plains, New York and died on February 10, 2017.

He was an American science fiction and horror writer.

He was sometimes associated with the Dangerous Visions series of anthologies that bolstered The New Wave.

Before his death, he resided in North Denver.

Bryant writing career began in 1968 with his attendance at the Clarion Workshop.

Reaching 1973, Edward had gained acclaim for stories with a conversational style that mask rather dark realities, at those times, these realities are downright apocalyptic, although in other cases the message is joyous and hopeful.

He died in Denver, Colorado.

Edward Bryant passed away at 71 years old.
