Eduardo Chirinos, Peruvian poet, Died at 55

Eduardo Alejandro Chirinos Arrieta was born in 1960, in Lima and died on February 17, 2016.

He was a Peruvian professor of literature at the University of Montana, as well as a distinguished poet.

Eduardo Chirinos studied Hispanic linguistics, acquiring a bachelor’s degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and a PhD in literature.

Eduardo Chirinos was the current professor in the department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at the University of Montana.

He concentrated in Latin American Literature, Modernism, Avant-Garde, Spanish and Latin American Contemporary Poetry

Eduardo Chirinos passed away at 55 yrs old.
