Eduard von Falz-Fein

Russian-born Liechtensteiner businessman, journalist and sportsman Eduard von Falz-Fein was born on September 14, 1912, in Gavrilovka, Kherson Oblast and died on November 17, 2018.

Eduard von Falz-Fein filled in as a “sports ambassador” who started the Olympic development in Liechtenstein was VP of the Liechtenstein Olympic Committee in the mid-1930s.

In 1951 and from 1953 until 1973, von Falz-Fein was President of the Liechtenstein Cycling Association.

He supported a significant part of the examination on the distinguishing proof of the Romanov family remains.

von Falz-Fein turned 100 on 14 September 2012.

von Falz-Fein was a cousin of an Olympic bobsledder Eduard Theodor von Falz-Fein (1912– 1974).

He died in a house fire in Vaduz at 106 years old.
